Start with the rooms you are furnishing. For each favourite piece, note its name or reference, quantity and intended room. Include furniture you are keeping so the discussion starts from the same plan.

- Separate confirmed choices from alternatives.
- Date the list and give each revision a simple version label.

Confirm the details behind the pictures.
Match each reference to the version being quoted. A styled image or showroom display helps explain a choice; the order specification records what you are buying.
- Record dimensions with units, such as mm or cm.
- Confirm layout, orientation, materials, colours and finishes where relevant.
- Note the available options selected for your order and any details awaiting confirmation.

Read what the quotation includes.
Read the quotation alongside the same furniture list. Check the currency, quotation validity and agreed delivery scope.
- Identify the furniture, quantities and included components.
- Match packing, transport and other agreed services to the quotation.
- If a product, address or service changes, compare the revised scope as well as the total.

Resolve open questions before confirming.
Keep one short list of unanswered questions. Before confirming, review the payment stages, change or cancellation conditions, checks and delivery arrangements in the order documents.
- Mark which specifications and choices are agreed.
- Ask for clarification on the remaining points.
- Keep the agreed list, quotation and revisions together, with their dates, so everyone can identify the current version.
